I really like the idea of Krolock NOT being nobility when he got bitten… I’m gonna steal that for a story sometime.
What does he say about Herbert’s mother and the Krolocks? I can understand some things but not nearly enough.
ETA: And dammit, I have actually been toying with an idea for a story where Krolock is something of a good man and fights against Dracula, wanting to get rid of the vampires for good. But even if he does succeed in defeating Dracula, he becomes what he tries to destroy and eventually even takes the title of a count for himself - essentially becoming Dracula. :’)
